After more than a decade in the fashion industry, prominent Ukrainian designer Natalya Kamenskaya and art director Maria Gavrilyuk started Gunia Project. What began as a personal hobby and research project on Ukraine’s cultural heritage eventually turned into a brand named for a Carpathian garment. Today, championing ancient folk art forms and ethnic cultures, Gunia Project works closely with artisans across the country to create heirloom-worthy homewares that fit perfectly into the aesthetics of modern life.
