Co-created in 2014 by Noora Sharrab and Jacqueline Sofia, two women with a deep connection with Jordan's Jerash Refugee Camp, Sitti is a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) headquartered in Toronto that empowers displaced Palestinian women and girls through education and sustainable employment. Using traditional soapmaking as a vessel to uplift their lives and restore hope and dignity within the community, Sitti produces a beautiful line of cold process olive oil soap handmade with care, love, and patience — an homage to the Palestinian soul summed up in the brand's name, which means “My Grandmother” in Arabic.
