Designed by Naoto Fukasawa as a simple, elegant, and purposeful stool, it is crafted by hand from recycled aluminum following the brand’s time-honored 77-step process and powder coated for a long-lasting finish — keeping its carbon footprint to a minimum. Meaning “a place to sit” in Japanese, Za makes for more than just a convenient seat. It is an heirloom-worthy piece meant to be cherished and passed on for generations.

To keep your chairs looking beautiful, clean with soap and water, and dry with a soft cloth. You can also use Windex®, Formula 409® or similar spray cleaner, with or without bleach followed by a lint free towel. Hydrogen peroxide-based cleaners may also be used, dilution level 1:10. Wash any film or residue with hot water.
Do not use Stainless Steel cleaner on any aluminum furniture.

We currently only ship to Canada and the US (except PO boxes, APO/FPO and US Territories).
Your order will be shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) so that you don't have to pay extra fees upon delivery. Please allow 2-10 business days for delivery from receipt of tracking. Add 5 business days for shipments to Canada.
Free shipping on orders above $175USD is applicable to USA and Canada orders with exception of Hawaii and Alaska where air shipping rates apply.
Selective items categorized as furniture, rugs, lighting, long brooms, and oversized are exempt from free shipping. A shipping charge for these items will be charged on your order at check out. Freight charge does not include assembly.
Return Policy
We hope you’ll love your purchase. In case you need to make a return, you have 30 days from receipt to send eligible items back to us, with the exception of furniture and rugs. You have 14 days from receipt to send eligible furniture and rugs. Items that are customized or special ordered are not eligible for return. Items discounted by 50% or more are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return.
