For thoughtful pruning with precision and ease, the Sentei Set offers a beautifully crafted introduction to Japanese carbon steel garden tools, combining performance with timeless design. Presented in a paulownia wood box and wrapped in hand-dyed tenugui, this set brings together two essential tools designed to handle both delicate and more demanding garden tasks.

Sentei Garden Scissors
Ideal for cut flowers, deadheading, and light pruning, these finely balanced scissors feature sharp, precise blades made from KA-70 carbon steel. Their elegant round handles provide a comfortable grip, allowing for controlled, accurate cuts—even on woody stems up to pencil thickness.

Sentei Secateurs
Built for versatility, these traditional drop-forged secateurs feature a smooth spring action and simple lock catch for ease of use. The bypass KA-70 carbon steel blades deliver clean cuts on softwood and light branches (up to 7 mm), making them equally suited to delicate shaping and more substantial pruning work.

Shipping Policy

We currently only ship to Canada and the US (except PO boxes, APO/FPO and US Territories).

Your order will be shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) so that you don't have to pay extra fees upon delivery. Please allow 2-10 business days for delivery from receipt of tracking. Add 5 business days for shipments to Canada.

Free shipping on orders above $175USD is applicable to USA and Canada orders with exception of Hawaii and Alaska where air shipping rates apply.

Selective items categorized as furniture, rugs, lighting, long brooms, and oversized are exempt from free shipping. A shipping charge for these items will be charged on your order at check out. Freight charge does not include assembly. 

Return Policy

We hope you’ll love your purchase. In case you need to make a return, you have 30 days from receipt to send eligible items back to us, with the exception of furniture and rugs. You have 14 days from receipt to send eligible furniture and rugs. Items that are customized or special ordered are not eligible for return. Items discounted by 50% or more are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return.
