Designed in 1949 by Danish-American designer Jens Risom, this iconic piece showcases his stylish and innovative approach to modern design. The dynamic side table includes an inbuilt shelf, ideal for your choice of printed material or drinks menu. Its three-legged plywood construction combines practicality with style, perfect for holding your mug while you enjoy your literature.

Care Instructions: Lacquered surfaces are easy to clean and resistant to dust, but hard to restore once damaged. Wipe off spills immediately to prevent absorption into cracks. Avoid abrasive detergents and alcohol. Use gentle cleaning agents and wipe in the wood grain's direction. Water-based lacquers cannot withstand ethanol disinfection. Discoloration requires professional restoration. You can obtain the original coloured lacquer from Fredericia.

Lacquer is slightly more sensitive than varnish. However, a lacquer sustains a more beautiful patina and you will not be able to see small scratches with the naked eye.

Shipping Policy

We currently only ship to Canada and the US (except PO boxes, APO/FPO and US Territories).

Your order will be shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) so that you don't have to pay extra fees upon delivery. Please allow 2-10 business days for delivery from receipt of tracking. Add 5 business days for shipments to Canada.

Free shipping on orders above $175USD is applicable to USA and Canada orders with exception of Hawaii and Alaska where air shipping rates apply.

Selective items categorized as furniture, rugs, and lighting are also exempt from free shipping. A shipping charge for these items will be charged on your order at check out.

Return Policy

We hope you’ll love your purchase. In case you need to make a return, you have 30 days from receipt to send eligible items back to us, with the exception of furniture and rugs. You have 14 days from receipt to send eligible furniture and rugs. Items that are customized or special ordered are not eligible for return.
