Tradition is a modular lounge series in teak that brings refined sophistication to outdoor spaces. With the versatility to fit any lounging style preference, Tradition’s elegance and comfort are an invitation to unwind. Designed for Fritz Hansen by Danish architect and designer Povl B. Eskildsen.

The Tradition Table adds a practical place for glasses, sunblock, books, or lanterns. It can fit seamlessly between Tradition’s seat modules, extending the lounge with a functional and beautifully crafted teak table. It also works perfectly as a stand-alone piece.

Care Instructions: To clean, use a suitable wood cleaner and soft brush. Rinse with water and air dry for 24 hours. For stains, use mild bleach and water. Sand with 120-150 grit sandpaper yearly. To maintain color, use furniture oil regularly. Store in a cool, dry place in winter if possible

Wood:

New wooden, teak furniture has natural colour differences found in the freshly cut wood. Once the furniture has been exposed to the sun, these colour differences will even out. As a natural part of the aging process, the surface of teak will change when first being exposed to rain and sunlight; this is the first stage of a process of wood that ages with beauty.

We currently only ship to Canada and the US (except PO boxes, APO/FPO and US Territories).

Your order will be shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) so that you don't have to pay extra fees upon delivery. Please allow 2-10 business days for delivery from receipt of tracking. Add 5 business days for shipments to Canada.

Free shipping on orders above $175USD is applicable to USA and Canada orders with exception of Hawaii and Alaska where air shipping rates apply.

Selective items categorized as furniture, rugs, and lighting are also exempt from free shipping. A shipping charge for these items will be charged on your order at check out.

Return Policy

We hope you’ll love your purchase. In case you need to make a return, you have 30 days from receipt to send eligible items back to us, with the exception of furniture and rugs. You have 14 days from receipt to send eligible furniture and rugs. Items that are customized or special ordered are not eligible for return.
