Goodee is proud to release our 5th Annual Impact Report—a meaningful milestone that reaffirms our dedication to sharing our progress openly with our community and stakeholders.

This year marks the beginning of the mid-term phase of our Impact Framework, giving us the opportunity to pause, reflect, and build upon the strong foundation we’ve laid over the past four years.

At a Glance

In 2024, we proudly welcomed 8 new Makers into the Goodee community—most of whom are BIPOC- or women-owned businesses dedicated to preserving traditional heritage crafts.

We also re-engaged our entire Maker network through a refreshed and thoughtfully designed Partner Assessment Questionnaire, strengthening collaboration and deepening our shared commitment to accountability.

Our team further nurtured key relationships through in-person visits with partners in Ghana and the United Kingdom, creating space for more meaningful dialogue and long-term partnership-building.

On the local front, 2024 marked a landmark year for community outreach, with our team participating in more volunteer initiatives and grassroots collaborations than ever before.

Preserving Crafts

At Goodee, one of our core commitments is to help preserve heritage crafts—ensuring that traditional techniques, cultural knowledge, and artisanal excellence continue to thrive in a modern world.

In 2024, this mission came into sharper focus, with 78% of our Makers actively engaged in sustaining heritage craft practices—a meaningful rise from 62% in 2023.

In serving as a bridge between cultures, Goodee continues to connect conscious consumers with ethically crafted design rooted in tradition, purpose, and meaning.

Nurturing Our Planet

As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility, 2024 marked a pivotal year in how we approach the logistics behind our products.

We conducted our first in-depth retrospective analysis of inbound shipments from our Makers, with a focus on improving efficiency while reducing our environmental impact. This review, covering the period from 2022 to 2024, revealed significant progress:

48% fewer shipments from makers, while maintaining the same volume of units.

78% increase in the average number of units per shipment.

46% decrease in air shipments.

In 2024 alone, we also successfully transitioned 5 major makers from air to ocean shipping, representing 34% of total units shipped—a major win for carbon footprint reduction.

2025 and Beyond

Looking Ahead

As we look ahead to 2025, our vision at Goodee is grounded in a renewed commitment to human connection. We believe that in an increasingly digital world, the most powerful experiences are those that bring people together—in person, with intention. Through workshops, events, and everyday moments of gathering, we aim to create spaces where our community can engage meaningfully, offline.

At the same time, we’re investing in a deeper understanding of the customers we serve—listening more closely, learning more thoughtfully—so that we can meet their needs with greater empathy, creativity, and care.

This year, we will also continue to nurture our long-standing relationships with Makers, while opening the door to new partnerships and uncharted collaborations.

At every intersection—whether with our customers, our Makers, or our partners—we are guided by a singular goal: to build relationships that are authentic, reciprocal, and anchored in a shared purpose to do good.
