Description
If you’re partial to adding a dash of milk or a sprinkle of something sweet to your morning brew, this elegant 1616 / Arita ensemble consisting of a milk jug, a sugar bowl, and a matching tray will complete your ritual beautifully. Created by Dutch design duo Stefan Scholten and Carole Baijings, it is crafted from a dense clay of crushed stone that’s specific to the town of Arita and offers a distinctly European take on the forms and colors of traditional Japanese ware.
