Description

Decorating open shelves? Or searching for a visually-appealing ceramic plate to use as an accent on your coffee table? With its striking checkered pattern and distinctive firing marks, the Qayrawan Plate by Tinja is an impactful pick in more ways than one. Reminiscent of archeological artifacts from the ancient city of Kairouan in Tunisia, it is a fine example of the millennia-old pottery skills of the women artisans of the Sejnane region — a craft recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

The Qayrawan Plate comes with a metal stand.

Due to the handmade nature of this item, no two pieces are exactly alike.

Please note that Sejnane pottery is not waterproof.
